Letizia Calori (Bologna, 1986) studied at the Faculty of Visual Arts at IUAV University of Venice and at the HfBK Städelschule in Frankfurt.  
Among various prizes and awards: in 2013 she won the Ernst & Young Prize. In 2015 she received a prize from Heinz and Gisela Friederichs Foundation for the project L’Oiseau de Feu, a ballet for tower cranes. The same year she is selected by Fundacion Botin, Santander as artist in residence. In 2016 she is awarded for the XII edition of the New York Prize by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Academy of Advanced Studies at Coulmbia University and she is artist in residence at ISCP, International Studio and Curatorial Program in New York. In 2017 she is assignee of the prize Panorami contemporanei –photography residencies in Italy, promoted by MiBACT e GAI and she is part of the European Photography Festival. In 2019 she is finalist of XII Talent Prize in Rome. In 2020 she is in residency at Nuovo Forno del Pane, MAMbo, Bologna and she is awarded of the prize Cantica 21, Italian contemporary Art Everywhere, promoted by Italian Ministry of Foreign affairs and Italian Ministry of Culture.
She took part in several shows, such as IIC Sao Paolo (Brasil), MAMbo (Bologna), ISCP and Italian Cultural Institute (New York), MMK Museum fur Moderne Kunst and Deutsche Film Museum (Frankfurt a. M.), Villa Iris - Fundaciòn Botin (Santander), Austrian Sculpture Park (Graz) e Moderna Museet (Stockholm).

Since 2009 she is part of the duo Calori & Maillard.
